Peabody, Massachusetts is situated 25 miles from Boston, where many of guests of the bed and breakfast inn like to visit. There is train service to Boston from the next town, just ten minutes away.

Joan's Bed and Breakfast has three lodging accommodations: two rooms with twin beds and one room with a queen-size bed. All three rooms have air-conditioning and wireless Internet access.

Breakfast is served in their somewhat country kitchen with skylights over the table. All muffins, pastries, breads, and jams are homemade. In the summer, strawberries, raspberries and blueberries are fresh from the yard. Juices, fruits, and cereals also are included. Coffee and tea are served at all times, and afternoon tea is served on request.

The quaint New England town of Rockport is also a very special place to visit with all of its cute shops and fine restaurants, some of which are right on the ocean.
